The Soper lens system uses bicurve lenses based on sagittal depth. A steeper lens is selected by maintaining the same base curve but increasing the diameter.
Three fitting sets are available. Mild (7.4mm diameter, 6.0mm OZ), moderate (8.5mm diameter, 7.0mm OZ) and advanced (9.5mm diameter, 8.0mm OZ). The smaller lenses are used for smaller, centrally located cones. The large diameters are used for oval cones. The peripheral curve of this system is constant. Peripheral alignment and apical clearance typify the Soper lens design.
