Proven Track Record recently held a training day at David Thomas Contact Lenses Ltd. Entitled “RGP’s are Fun”. Nick Atkins of PTR lectured on rigid gas permeable lens fitting made simple and also the principals of fitting toric lenses. Delegates also had a tour of the DTCL production facility and had a practical session on the identification and measurement of contact lenses using the equipment in the laboratory.

This is the second training day run by Proven Track Record at David Thomas and all delegates agreed that the course had been extremely helpful in preparing them for their contact lens exams. The mix of lectures combined with practical experience was considered a great success and further courses will be run in the future.
