DTCL attends East of England CET Conference
DTCL was pleased to attend and support the recent East of England CET Conference in Chelmsford on 16th April 2008. The conference was organized by the Essex Local Optical Committee and attracted over sixty delegates from the East of England. As well as a full lecture program there was a photograph competition sponsored by David Thomas Contact Lenses. Delegates had to visit each trade exhibitor stand and identify a specific contact lens related photograph. The winner of the competition was Lewis Marshall, a third year optometry student at the City University and part time dispenser at Cole Martin Tregaskis Optometrists in Brentwood. Lewis received £150 vouchers for Marks & Spencer and is looking forward to starting his pre-reg year in July.

TDTCL will be exhibiting at the 32nd Annual BCLA Clinical Conference & Exhibition being held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel from 29 May to 1 June 2008.
The Directors look forward to welcoming existing customers and new practitioners to their stand 21-22. There they will be able to discuss the latest additions to the Rose K2 range of lenses, the Essential RGP Multifocal, the world’s only silicone hydrogel GP material Comfort O2 and find out about the new FreshCare XC monthly replacement soft contact lenses. Also new for the practitioner will be news of Paragon CRT, the corneal reshaping therapy, now available in empirical fitting from K’s and Rx, and same day delivery. We also hope to have the new PCT-200 Corneal Topographer on display. Information on our complete range of specialist RGP and soft lenses, including the very successful hospital and eye clinic range of lenses will be available.
