Before You Commence
Your hands must be carefully washed with either Lanolin free soap or a suitable cleaning agent. Rinse thoroughly to remove any traces of hand cream, dust, fluff or dirt on your fingers, as these could end up under the lens and cause discomfort. Try to work over a flat covered surface, as there is less likelihood of the lens being lost should it drop off your fingers.

If you insert your lenses over a bathroom sink, always ensure that the plug is in place. Develop a simple routine. Always insert and remove the same lens first so that you do not confuse the right and left lenses.

LENS INSERTION
Always insert and remove the same lens first so that you do not confuse the right and left lenses.

Remove the lens from it's storage container. Ensure that the lens is not inside out, place lens onto the index finger of your dominant hand and verify the shape. (fig 1)
